
Callie is an Arizona-based freelance writer covering sustainable food systems, ethical tourism and everything in between. Her work is driven by the people and human experiences found at the intersections of these topics. She’s written for BBC, National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Civil Eats and elsewhere.
She also spent many years writing for international development NGOs, including gathering stories and working with filmmakers in countries throughout Africa and Asia. Callie holds an environmental MS from University College London.
